400% SALES INCREASE

After Japan’s economic crisis in 1986, a major hardwood lumber export company suffered major losses in annual Japanese sales. In 1996, Pacific Rim Export, Inc. was brought on to help, and by 1998, the client’s annual sales in Japan increased by 400%.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION

As Chair of the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC Japan), Nick Nakamura worked with the Director of AHEC Japan to help create a more sustainable and ecologically-friendly demand and production standards for hardwood in Japan.
